It may also be used with DC input devices; however, an external interposing relay must be installed with the AC voltage supplied to the contacts of the interposing relay. There is no specific limit to the number of installation instances allowed for this module. This mainly depends on the number of I/Os the host processor is capable of accommodating and the embedded memory size.
